Day 1 Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo and check in to your accommodation: a Japanese-style
traditional inn in the historic Asakura district, just a few minutes' walk from
ancient Sensoji Temple.
Day 2 Tokyo
Meet your guide today to head from your inn to a Shinto shrine. There, a
Shinto priest will bless your marriage in a traditional Japanese ceremony.
Afterwards, head out with your guide to explore Tokyo. You'll travel on foot and
by subway around this vibrant city, as your guide helps you get used to the
transport system and make plans for the days to come.
Days 3-6 Tokyo
Using the detailed maps and information we provide you with, explore Tokyo
and the surrounding area on your own for the next few days. There are
enough museums, gardens, temples, restaurants, and shops in Tokyo to
keep you busy for years, but we'll help you narrow down the options and plan
your time to suit your interests. If you'd like to venture further afield and check
out the rural areas around Tokyo (the shrines and temples of Nikko, hot
spring baths in Hakone, or Mt Fuji in its full spendour), we can help you
organize day trips as well.
Day 7 Departure
Check out at your own pace and depart anytime today.
